Before you can schedule your GED® test, you must either log into your existing GED account or signup for a free account.

Complete your profile details so your account is fully set up.

Review your state’s online testing rules to confirm eligibility.

Make sure you meet all online testing requirements (GED Ready® passing score, valid ID, proper computer, webcam, internet, and private testing space).

Take and pass the GED Ready® test for each subject you want to schedule online.

Go to your GED.com dashboard once you’re ready to test.

Click the “Schedule Test” button at the top of your account.

Choose the “Online Exam” option
instead of an in-person test center.

Select your preferred language
(English or Spanish).

Choose the subject(s) you want to

How long does it take to complete the GED process?

What if I’ve already failed a GED subject before?
